Update:

Unleashed: My car is performance very well. I need sticker tires and eliminate my wheel hops. Communication is awesome. He also able to see their is boost leak via log because my WGDC is unusually high. I will lift this baby up and smoke it again to check.
BAMA missed this. That tell me how much they check my the logs I sent in.

0-60 is 5.2 now after the tune and 1/4 is 13.4. I think I can break into 12 or 11 if I can get my IRS fix and sticky tires.

BAMA side: partial refund and call it a day. It is nice of them to give me a refund but as far as fixing the problem it is not a good way to fix it. They offer to have their lead calibrator to contact me but no one did. Thanks again.

That is all.

Jungle I thought you said in your first post Bama said you had a boost leak? I asked if you checked both sides and you said yes? Was this not the case?

I mean this is what you stated in your post.

After almost 3 months owning the SCT X4 from BAMA, I gave up. Many datalogs and revisions just to find out that my car only do ~220WHP and ~250WTQ from the dynojet. I was shocked and the shop was shocked.

before the tune with no mods I was able to beat a stock 2015 WRX easy. With the tune and bolts on I lost to a tuned 2015 WRX bad. He didnt need to shift out of third to dust me. I couldnt even break 14s on track app for 1/4 after many tries. I was blinded by the word "tuned" and thought my car was running better. The only thing it was better was the 2mpg.

I called and they blamed my car got a leak somewhere. I smoked test the car and no leaks. I called back to report there is no leaks and now they ask for the dyno results when they told me it would do them no good the first time. Seriously? If your customer call you and tell you they it is your tune, you need to man up and figure out why. I'm done. I was considering selling the X4 and go with Adam tune or maybe Lund but I met another ecoboost. The dude was on Unleashed tune. He lets me drive his car and it felt great for a car with just the tune. Guess what? he beat me in 30 and 40 rolls. stock tune EB (HIM) vs Mods no tune EB (ME). The price range is nice atm just for getting something better than BAMA tune.

Stay away from BAMA, no wonder why they havent show anything else for the EB.

I know I rant but I need to lets people know before they make the same mistake.
If your going to talk smack on them that's fine, but don't say they told you that you had a leak and it's bullcrap, then say unleashed found a leak and Bama didn't? That's not right, we can only go off your word

When I tested with the smoke at my buddy shop, we could not find any leaks. at all. Bama guy said the logs look fine. It wasnt fine when Unleashed look at it. He found the problem and not going off from assumption. Ill check again and see. As far as tuning go, my car is a complete different ride compare to before I switch over. It is more responsive and run better. I still stand on the lack of tuning capabilities.

My appointment is Monday, but I'm expecting them to, as far as they are concerned the car is back to stock except the Fmic, but that has nothing to do with the turbo housing you know.

Took it to a performance shop local and he tested the boost side first with smoke machine and nothing, then he hooked it up to the tail pipes and smoke is coming out of the front of the turbo housing, plus there is tons of soot and carbon build up from where it's leaking.

Make sure you look really close, if not a ton of smoke that would be coming out, but enough that u can see. If you look at the front side of the turbo and look at the housing and there is a bolt clamp that tightens down around the housing, that's where mine is leaking from

That's interesting I haven't seen much on that issue on here before. I did get my water pump replaced under warranty by Ford a couple of weeks ago after my local shop noticed a coolant leak

Glad you got it sorted out and you are happy with Unleashed - they make some killer tunes and offer some amazing support.

We have checked through your support tickets and phones calls with our Tuning Specialists. It does seem you were working directly with our lead calibrator and were very happy with our tunes until adding some new parts, which is when these issues seem to have started. I also see one of our Specialists did identify a boost leak/turbo issue resulting in the low power numbers (as you noted in your initial post); if you were misinformed about the logs looking correct we do apologize for this oversight.

Regarding your refund - Americanmuscle.com charges $399.99 for an X4 and we partner with them to value-add the tunes and our Free Tunes for Life Membership at no charge ($150 value). Your product was discounted by $50.00 and you were issued a credit of $100 (Free Tunes for Life Value minus your discount).

Should you wish to discuss this in more detail please give us a call until 5:30 today or when we re-open at 7:30am on Monday.

Yea I haven't really either, I tried doing a search to see if anyone else ran into this ir if this was a common ford problem, but I didn't find anything. I know they can't just replace the housing, they would have to replace the whole turbo. Who knows maybe they'll put an upgraded turbo and reflash my ecu:). Lol dreams do happen!

Looks like you left out a lot of important details in your original post.

1. You were happy with your original tune.

2. You changed parts.

3. You got a boost leak. Bama noted to you that you have a boost leak like you said in the first post.

4. They were trying to work with you and remotely diagnosis your issue which is difficult.

I think they handled the situation the best they could. Ultimately it wasn't a tuning issue, it was a hardware issue on your end which they had nothing to do with. You didn't want to think the problem was a boost leak and were just blaming them that their tune was bad. Unleashed told you the same thing and then you took their advice. I think this is a very unfair post to discredit the tuning abilities of bama once all the facts of both sides are aired out.
