Im now guessing Mid November delivery so a nice 16 month exercise....

Why so long? Did your dealer put the order into their system right away? After the nightmares some people have had when their dealer waited 2 months to do it, I contacted mine right away and they informed me they put the order in 2 days after I paid deposit :shrug:

I was told by my dealer that they have "order windows" during which time Ford will accept new orders. May have been a case of that and bad timing.

EDIT : Just looked up my details and see that I ordered on 28 Nov 2015 and the "order date" on the dealer vista report is 18 Jan 2016.

Im sure thats the case....It's a matter of right place right time...I think dealers also get a certain amount allocated to them and if one dealer sells his faster then you wait longer...

I think thats the Key...I used one ofthe biggest in Perth..

If a big dealer gets allocated 4 per month and sell 12 in a month then you wait a few months for the last orders to go in...

If a small dealer gets allocated 3 a month but only sells 2 then the next guy in gets his order placed straight away...

Hind sight is a wonderful thing..... FKING NOT

sorry bud :lol:....I think they are all fairly useless at feeding you info on your car etc, but if they're a bit smaller I think your order will go through a bit quicker
