Mustang GT vs Segway. Competitor or just a different mode of transportation?

I'm waiting for the heated grips on the Segway. Without those it's just not that great on those below zero days.

There's a guy down the street with a Segway, comes by almost every afternoon (walking, er, Segway-ing his dog ...). Nice guy, had some serious knee problems.

The funny thing is this area isn't some kind of hipster demographic, it's a southern, laid back beach community, one of the last places to might expect to see a Segway - additionally, there are Segway tours up in town, hahahaha, now that I think about it, we may have the highest concentration based on sq/miles in the US ...

I'm also waiting on the off-road version, 10" lift, huge tires, extra low gearing ...
