Like the title states:

Mustang GT- top speed 130+ mph with a range of about 300 miles depending on what type of driving.

Segway- top speed of 12.5 mph with a range of about 24 miles.

Which would make the better daily driver or weekend track vehicle?

It really depends on how busy the sidewalks are. The GT may have issues getting by trash cans and annoying light post. The segway is the much better option in this scenario.

Since the Segway only has two wheels, it doesn't conform to the golden ratio of wheelbase to track width. Therefore, it sucks. Plus it weighs at least 100 pounds more than Segway claims :)

Mods, can we please dump this thread and get rid of it? It's genuinely stupid and only clutters up this forum

What's the skidpad number on the segway?
The thread is probably a shot at Caballus for being a bench racer because his friend did over 1.0g in a hellcat. :first:

Check the GT350 vs Hellcat thread.

Does the segway have PP? If so with those gears it could be a drivers race.

It's not a fair comparison because the Segway has been out longer, the Mustang SHOULD beat it.

I was told the Segway has a lateral g 0f 1.01g. It can go 12.5 to 0 in less than 10ft

Has Whipple released their Segway kit yet? They keep pushing it back, I think it's a huge untapped market ...

The last time I saw the prototype was on Paul Blart's Segway. Haven't seen anything since. I believe Magnuson and Edelbrock were working on their set up as well.

Only if they make it CARB legal.
