Thatll get fixed, no worries there.

Just hope Ford have improved the logistics supply chain a bit for parts supply!

Just saw, well about 2pm, a well smashed up one in white on the back of a pick up, going down Reigate Hill, Surrey.

They really look like they are made out of paper once they hit something/roll :(

Would be interesting to note whether the majority of these crashed cars are autos.

The sales lady who sold me my manual GT said she was impressed with my driving of the demo auto GT and that she felt safe even though I was making progress.

She added that many potential punters had given her scary moments in the auto but it never happened in the manual.

You have to work at the manual whilst I believe the auto makes it too easy for the unwary to over cook it, especially if the box decides to change down on a dodgy overtake in the wet.

Unfortunately this is mine :( I came off the A38 onto the slip road I tried to brake but just ended up sliding all the way to the bottom where there is a 90 degree bend and hit the Armco , one of the guys I work with was about a minute behind me and he also slid down the slip road but luckily managed to regain grip and slow down just before the bend. The cars going into ford tomorrow and the insurance will deal with it from there, the damage doesn't look too bad on further inspection so hopefully everything will be alright.
Sorry to see this Rob. On the plus side, you aint missing any good driving weather in the next month or two! Hope it gets fixed quickly mate

Was always the issue of the Toyota Supra 3.0 TT Auto, people put there foot down to accelerate out of a corner, they not only got turbo spooling but also a kick down, the amount of owners I know who ended up through fences and bushes backwards in fields due to exactly this was insane.

The new Mustang is certainly challenging the Supra for its crashing ability. :D

Yep. Considering there are only what 2000 or so in the country.

I did think my insurance would be up one year, what with the heavy feet and PZeros but I actually paid a fiver less this time around.

All cars tend to crash more in this weather but I wonder.... you have to think the mustang is crashing at a much greater rather per miles driven or volumes on the road than most sportier cars. We all know the potential reasons but insurance companies don't care ofr reasons just stats, so the change of ratio is so extreme insurance companies will soon notice for sure.
I work a with a bunch of them, their risk functions would make NASA seem basic.

You have to ask yourself why manufacturers do this with tyres?

The GT86 comes stock with Prius tyres for gods sake!! The marketing people say it makes for a more "involved" drive. Great, in the wet the handling is total crap!!

I have Conti SC5 on my road '86 and they transform the car into a planted, predictable RWD sports coupe. I wonder if they could do the same for the Mustang??

LMFAO Yep, you know your stuff Manders!!

I mean really, it's great for chucking round a dry open track and impressing the world on YouTube, but on a damp, leafy country lane in England it equals.. um, let me think??

Oh yeah.. SHIT!!
