Went to the mustang bucket list in Plano today.. actually still here ... that ecobost is no slouch and that handling absolutely blew me away! That car is so planted and each lap I took got faster and faster.... afterward rode along in a ty gt pp. Absolutely loved it... the power, the stance.. everything.. compared to my Audi... holy shi#. Awesome job Ford! Definitely re affirmed my choice and will forever be a mustang fan and owner here on out

I went to the event in Austin and only got to drive a circle around the mall at 25mph. No GT demos either due to lack of space in the parking lot.

What are the biggest positives of the Ecoboost compared to your TT? I am very interested in your opinion since I have a 99 A4 (original owner).

The one thing for me to get used to would be the massive hood pointing towards the sky. The old fashioned dome light box did not bother me. It actually reminds me a bit of the one in the Audi R8.

The ecoboost was so balanced.. even though it was not all wheel drive it definitely stuck to the pavement... I've always had the description of the TT to a slot car... this was definitely the same but with a bit of added excitement... you can throw the rear out when you want to...the ecoboost had a surprising amount of power... yes, you can spin the wheels on it.... I will try to post vids. One of the drivers allowed us for more spirited driving as the other did not

I drove out to the one in Plano today as well and had good luck with the rep. I was able to take it pretty much all out through the track in the parking lot and the ecoboost kicks ass on an autocross type of course. It puts power down so well out of the corners without fishtailing everywhere, and it was about 40 degrees here today. I am also now a believer. It felt much more powerful than my 2014 v6 - either it's the engine or the 2.73 gears in my manual. I didn't get to drive the manual, they said people keep breaking the transmissions so they just had them on display.
