They are not going to offer a track package with automatic transmission.
Horsepower and the engine displacement bumps are not likely to happen after the first year.

The plausible changes might be...
-Premium options on V6 model
-power folding mirrors
-Wheel changes on PP because nobody likes those
-Heated steering wheel (doubtful though)

What makes you so certain no pp for auto?

If you want the V6 to have more options (premium trim, performance pack), make sure you write Ford directly, and also you can send a private message to Rachael here on FordService and she will document your feedback and send it up the chain.

That's me! :D

Just like Spartan said, I can document this. Just make sure to send me a PM with your full name, phone number, and address, as well as the details you'd like included.

I started a similar thread here:

http://www.mustang6g.com/forums/showthread.php/youre-in-charge-4100.html?t=4100

In my opinion, the '16MY is too soon for any significant changes. Maybe new colours and trim specs, but no new/revised engines (GT350 notwithstanding)
I think '16 will offer whatever they need to offer to counter whatever the Camaro comes out with...heck it could even be a .5 update to the 2015s.

If the Camaro offers their 4 cylinder with leather/premium, then Ford will most likely do the same with the V6 in the Mustang.

If their 4 cylinder has more HP, then Ford will bump up the EB more.

Lots of things Ford can do with just a MY update

When do we think the 16's will begin production? I should be ready to buy around next May. :headbang:

What might be a pretty cool option is electro magnetic dampening shocks that adjust from touring, sport, comfort, track and dynamic... very much similar to the Audi S line... I know it will be more expensive but at the same time could be offered on the premium models. Also for those that love the automatic but at the same time love manuals.... an option for a dsg type transmission with different shift dynamics comfort, touring, sport, sport+ and manual. What might also be cool is a fully digital/customizable gauge cluster where you can select the outputs you want to see in the dash like oil pressure, boost, temps. Like on the 2016 Audi TT and TTS either with or without the nav in it but not eliminating that center stack

Realisticly:
1. 2 new colors
2. H.U.D.
3. New wheel options

Hopefully:
1. HP bump
2. Track pack - bigger wheels, frpp sport exhaust, better suspension.)
3. Weight reduction.

What Ford doesn't get is that those that buy the V6 and upgrade it after market is costing Ford $$$ because they could be getting that money (19" rims, sport seats, upgrades, etc). It doesn't hurt them AT ALL to offer the V6 in premium. Someone is not going to buy the EB if they don't want a turbo, no matter how much they market it. Ford would be wise to let the buyer pick.

I'm ready to buy now but with it already being November here in the NOVA/DC area...might just push it off till spring.

And by then with the Camaro being revealed...can see what Ford will counter with.

Honestly after a complete redesign, year 2 is usually the best year.

I think we might see the aluminum doors/trunk that they didn't do this year also. Weight reduction is needed. I drove all 3 today (V6, EB, GT) and all of them felt really heavy.

Lets hope we get the PP 19" gunmetal options like the UK/EU are getting. I'd also take a gunmetal color or fiery metallic orange for the body.

I saw Magnetic today for the first time and man, I was so let down by it. It just does not pop on this car and you really lose the black accents. They need something lighter then magnetic..almost like a satin gunmetal that the Kia Optima has or BMW.

Would like to see hood vents included on performance package variants for the EB.
