MT82 Cannot get into first. Linkage or air ?

Now the OP of that thread is experiencing the same exact thing. So that could be it. But now I have to pay to drop the transmission when it was free before. I guess I gotta do what I gotta do

Pilot bearing. $20 part. Lol.

Gotcha, was it only first and second? Or was it every gear? Maybe if you could check out my post, I go into a lot of detail of what I'm dealing with. Praying it's just air in the system

Just read the post. Being that it has an aftermarket clutch I’m like 95% sure it’s the pilot bearing. I was chasing the issue for over 2 years. Put a new pilot bearing in and it went away. I wish I found out sooner because I think I ended up prematurely wore out the synchros. Sucks to go thru the effort and cost for a $20 part but it’ll save you a new transmission.

Thanks man! I bled my clutch system (pumped it like 200 times) and it helped a lot, but a bit of notchiness came back shortly after. Im gonna have my system professionally flushed and bled.. hoping thats the problem? Its intermittent, so i’d have to assume its air.
