With a Job2 car you have to remove the pins in your factory adjustable plates. You can find photos in this forum and an explanation on how people have removed them to allow for custom alignments.
when I get mine - eventually / hopefully - I'll certainly dig around the forums here more... but - for the adjustable camber plates - I would "assume" there's basically 2 "settings" you can lock into them - street / track... and when you want to change - you don't need tools other than move the plate from A to B, drive fast curvy circles and then back from B to A...

Or am I being way too optimistic?

I like to disassemble things.
There's no "settings" as much as the instructions might lead you to believe you can just move it this way or that way and you are good to go. Way too much variance. Get a caster/camber gauge from Longacre and dial it in properly, then cinch everything down.

Have those - was more "hoping" the adjustable plates made it as simple as the swapping of street / track pads... but that's ok - will STILL be easier than doing it on the C7 :)

The factory adjustable plates have an adequate bearing/bushing in them but beyond that they are a bit weak. Adjustment takes some effort unless you don't mind whacking the top of the strut with a mallet (with a socket used for protection of course).

Agreed, and I would suggest to anyone who doesn't already have them to consider an aftermarket pair over the OEM ones. They will be way easier to adjust, and be money well spent.

What brand would one suggest for aftermarket for our cars?

Which size? 60mm, 2.25" or 2.5"?
I know noting about camber plates or setting camber for track use.

Use the link Tom provided and select OEM GT350/R GT500

I didn't realize my link was the one for coil-over equipped cars. My car is getting coil-overs, that's why I had that link saved.

When ordering, select GT500 from the pulldown.

$529 and worth every penny.

There should be no argument..... They are the best.
You won't get any argument from me, but you will from others. Hence the "arguably"

I would say anyone who argues doesn't want to pay the money for the best you can buy.

Vorshlag is a work of art and the absolute best available.
