There is no drone at normal cruising speeds with the PP gearing. The drone is from 58 MPH to 70 MPH in 6th gear. Going 45 is it very quiet, and going just over 70 is pure engine noise without drone, and it sounds amazing.

Love the honestly about the drone between 1600->2200RPM.
Totally agree...I have yet to hear such HONESTY...I may buy this one just because of this...VERY impressive that they addressed what EVERYONE else dances around with answers, like its subjective, I don't hear that, no one else hears it, you bought a loud exhaust turn the radio up...

I also , have their hood struts on my GT500 (and my 2014 California Special, that I sold 4 weeks after getting for the GT500), and I had an issue with they shipped 2 left brackets. The customer support was absolutely awesome, and they over-nighted a new bracket that day...I was planning on using their hood struts on the 2015, and based on this video will PROBABLY use their exhaust! MRT seems to be one of the honest and good vendors out there! :clap2:

Please let us know what you think of the performance difference if any. I've already contacted MRT and they said the system drops about 20 lbs. from stock. They were unable to provide power differentials however. Hopefully someone will dyne the car before and after for some approximations.

"Unable" as in they didn't have the numbers, or they didn't want to share?

Love the H pipe... Love that it's 3 inch... Especially for a Whipple or Vortech upgrade... Love the deep sound! Sold! Ordering mine mid January when I recover from Christmas.

I can attest to this. I saw a YouTube clip on this exhaust and MRT quoted the catback at $999.99. I emailed them and asked them if that price still stands, even though their website said $1099.99. They said since they made the mistake of leaving that price on there, they would honor that price one time only (apparently it was a preorder price).

That's simply a great way to get and keep a customer like myself. Kudos to them for backing up what was posted and not just saying 'no that's not the price anymore'

So are the costs on the site backwards?:

List Price: $804.99
Our Price: $1,099.99

I'll take the list price :)
SOO, can we get it for $804.99? If so, i may just order this unit instead of the Magnaflow.

Really? If that's the case I might go ahead and take the deal for that price.

Guys no, unfortunately that's just a forum error now. $1099....this is one of the top runners of exhaust choices. Just waiting to hear some driveby's and maybe hear it in person due to a little bit of drone.

Yeah it's $1099.99. I've got one on order and will be installing it next week as long as it gets here. I'll make sure to grab some videos and post quite a few pictures.

As reference, on my 2011 GT I had the Ford Racing axle backs. Those were relatively tame and just had a nice deep tone with the stock H pipe, but nothing crazy loud. I'm interested to see how this exhaust compares.

Anybody been able to hear how just the axlebacks sound? Wondering if it might be worth it just to go with those for now and install the lethal x or h pipe later on and save a few bucks.

Not sure they sell just axle backs? I've just seen catback H pipe.

Lethal and Stage 3 both have the axlebacks available.
