Motor Trend's Ecoboost review wasn't very complimentary of the Ecoboost's handling.

Looking at the dyno charts getting an EB to GT power levels isn't going to be easy without a turbo swap.
I want to see a GT dyno.

To me, that tank looks like the translucent white tank that we've seen, fogged up with condensation inside, and in poor shaded lighting conditions. Just like when the issue popped up last week. I doubt its different than what we've seen. Though, I suppose its possible that they've changed the white to a grey, since it looks different than the master cylinder reservoir. But again, this could be a trick of the light.

It seems to be, at least as of now, the better performer and is a direct competitor. A direct competitor being a better performer might not be a big deal to the Mustang faithful, but it is to your average car enthusiast.

Also lets not forget the Camaro hasn't made its debut yet. If there's a goood gap between a current Mustang and a previous generation Camaro, how much wider will the gap be when the next Camaro comes out?

Hard to tell, lighting and camera editing can play tricks on colors.

Looking at the large size of the pic I see condensation on the top and can clearly see the coolant color in the bottom. The coolant color is toned down, which makes me think that we are seeing a picture with no flash and some photoshop cleanup that hid some of the detail.

It is .1 sec slower on quarter mile - techincally slower, yes. But I'll take the six-piston Brembo front brakes and stop a yard shorter. I don't understand your comment about the suspension.

According to the multiple of reviews today they mentioned it seemed as the front and rear suspension werent in harmony as if they werent communicating

I definitely agree. More in depth reviews as they come down the line will be welcomed to gain additional information. Especially if we can get a head to head between the two cars. I'm definitely not feeling very excited about what I'm reading.

Why so butthurt? Look up my posts and tell me where I said that I expected the 1LE to outperform the 2015 PP Mustang. I always expected the 2016 Camaro to outperform the 2015 Mustang, but I didn't expect that Mustang wouldn't really outperorm the 1LE.

Don't be pissed at me. Read the articles. It's not what it was hyped up to be. I'm sure it'll be a great every day car, but some people here are too big of pumpers and when a product finally gets tested, people are upset.

Levels, contrast, to remove camera operator error.

I'm not talking about editing like inserting or removing something. I'm talking about post processing using masking layers to remove blowouts and things. Just about every (good) pic is post processed.

Same here, I am holding out for some articles where they start pitting it verses other cars (namely the Boss 302/1LE) but this initial batch of impressions isn't exactly good news. And it matching or slightly besting the Boss 302 isn't a good enough benchmark as the 1LE did that several years back. The benchmark should be the 1LE.

This is because of the suspension soaking it up so much better than the old ones. The difference in lateral Gs should show you which one will be faster in the corners. Then theres the good gain in breaking. This car will be able to brake into corners later and accelerate out of them sooner, which is exactly what ford says they were shooting for. Hopefully it transfers to some good track times.

This car should have lost weight..if the next camaro can do that and have some sort of 1le again, this car will quickly be forgotten

MT seemed to be the least complimentary of the three main reviews I've read so far.

C&D was mostly fluff though.

R&T seemed to have the most time with the car as part of the PCOTY article, and also seemed to be the most complimentary. However, there was still some dissention in the ranks in R&T's coverage. Most reporters seemed to applaud the new handling, with one saying he preferred the car over the M235i. Another said it was good on the street but felt like driving a Taurus on the track.

I'm not sure it's quite the home-run we were all hoping for, but at the same time it seems like the platform is very good, and maybe some shocks with more damping and some sway bar adjustments will get the handling a bit more sorted for the track and the cost of suppleness.

Still, if you go back and read the MT coverage of the 2005, it was also pretty harsh, so maybe that's just the way they come across.

I'm really looking forward to what the GT350 and the aftermarket has to offer.

It was also funny how almost all reviews mentioned that the GT wasn't loud enough.
