Well, they don't have VINs for one. Usually questions like this are posed regarding street legal cars.
The question was open ended. No specifics.

a 2000 cobra r was $53,000. I have to assume in today's dollars that's quite a bit.
It would be right at $75k in 2015.

The 2008 Shelby GT500KR (the one built by Ford, not a post-title Shelby special) had an MSRP of $79,995. Not including the various turn-key race cars, I think that's the most factory expensive new Mustang ever sold.

Those are Ford Racing cars. The most expensive factory Mustang to date is a loaded 13-14 GT500. Just because some Tool pays ADM for for a GT350R doesn't make it the most expensive.
So what makes them a tool? B/c they paid ADM? I think most people did for an R.

People paid ADM on the 2000 R as well. It was the equivalent to the current 350R except they didn't give you the option for AC and associated pieces on the 2000...and it only came in one color.

Come to think of it, I wish the 350 was only one color...it would make things so much easier :)

So did people pay ADM for the King of the Road? If so that would be a really expensive Mustang! I do think ADM paid should be considered in this argument. Like it or not it does add to the total purchase price of the car. Some people after taxes and ADM will be near $85K for a '15 R.

A lot of people will be far more than that.

Looks like we need some "rules" for this thread.

1. MSRP should be the indication for price. ADM is applied by the Dealer not ford

2. After market tuner cars don't count. I'm looking at you Shelby American, Roush, Saleen, etc...

3. Factory options count

4. Anything I missed?

2016 GT350 Magnetic w/Black Stripes / Black Roof /Tech Package ETA Feb (US Port) under MSRP

For a 1 of 37 R? Yes indeed, but I dont htink a single person on here has acknowledged having a 15 R on order...im guessing only the ford brass and extremely high end collectors had their shot at those.

Isn't it amazing how the suckers who have been lined up and bent over by their respective scum ball Ford dealers for an over sticker raping chime in with absolute predictability and justify these idiotic prices. Sorry but only a moron agrees to this kind of avaricious pricing behavior. These same goons will be the very first to wine like children when they are offered 35K for a GT350 that they went out the door with 2 years ago. Some people are just natural born suckers, do yourself a huge favor and ignore their nonsense as the the GT350 market will stabilize soon and these turkeys will realize how badly they have been had
gl
Jesus get over yourself. If ppl want to pay to have what they want, let them.

Nice first post. This topic discussed ad nauseam by the ADM/Market Trend know-it-alls. Save your next post for something more fruitful

Maybe I'm attempting to get the attention of potential buyers who have been brainwashed by stupid jack asses here who will mindlessly be told by a car dealer what to pay. If I offend, too bad. It is worth if I can open even a single persons eyes to this stupidity. Lots of fools here who need to wake up
You will go far here...:paddle:

Most expensive Mustang's MSRP. Of course after adjusting inflation.
