Maybe I'm attempting to get the attention of potential buyers who have been brainwashed by stupid jack asses here who will mindlessly be told by a car dealer what to pay. If I offend, too bad. It is worth if I can open even a single persons eyes to this stupidity. Lots of fools here who need to wake up
Lulz...captain save a "sucker" to the rescue :lol:

Safe your breath and time, you are just coming across as a pompous jackass. An endless stream of guys like you "doing right" by the community have already come and gone (or been banned). Some folks will pay ADM, some will not, none are doing it as clueless idiots as you suggest. Most don't put themselves in a position to buy a 55-70k car by being "mindless"

Maybe we need to consider the '15 R that sold at auction for a cool mil! Charity I know but that is expensive.

So did people pay ADM for the King of the Road? If so that would be a really expensive Mustang! I do think ADM paid should be considered in this argument. Like it or not it does add to the total purchase price of the car. Some people after taxes and ADM will be near $85K for a '15 R.
Yes, the KR started at just under $80K and many paid well over $100K for them.

Looks like we need some "rules" for this thread.

1. MSRP should be the indication for price. ADM is applied by the Dealer not ford

2. After market tuner cars don't count. I'm looking at you Shelby American, Roush, Saleen, etc...

3. Factory options count

4. Anything I missed?

2016 GT350 Magnetic w/Black Stripes / Black Roof /Tech Package ETA Feb (US Port) under MSRP
If those are the perimeters, then the 08 GT500KR is it. $79,995 MSRP. The end.

I hope you used the same computer/IP to create this new account - because I'd love to know who you are and lol as you are banned.

One northern CA dealer still has their 2000 Cobra R in stock, finally pulled from the showroom several yrs back and put into storage.. Last known "bottom line" price was MSRP plus $100,000.

But for this thread...stick to manufacturer MSRP.
1. 2008 GT500KR (sticker and inflation adjusted)
2. 2000 Cobra R adjusted for inflation
3. 14 GT500 fully optioned

Perfect example of stupid people allowing themselves to be manipulated by hype, nonsense, and lies from grease ball car salesman. Ask the guy who was a$$ raped for $100,000 on a KR and now would be lucky to get 40K for if he would ever pay an ADM again? This happens over and over and over again with SE Mustangs. There just always seems to be a batch of willing suckers ripe and ready to get ground into the pavement. The current GT350 is no different.

the most expensive Mustang was sold a Barrett Jackson this spring.
A production based Gt 350, for a cool 1 million. Reality is, not modified with anything after market. Selling price 1 mill, where the money goes is not relevant to this thread.

Yeah and look how well that investment worked out. My dealer bought a mint one from a guy with a couple hundred miles on it and sold it for $55k. Another "it's going to be a classic take my ADM" Mustang that depreciates like anything else.

Ok if you guys are going off to nutty nutty land and use "auctions" etc (oh the Barrett Jackson sales for new MY cars are MSRP..yeah- you write the MSRP check to Ford and the balance is a charity contribution (fully tax deductable)) then you need to be looking at 1965 GT350Rs...they go for over a million$.

And don't forget the 67/68 Green Hornet--restored Shelby experimental car (perfectly rebuilt with LOTS of non-original parts. Big hype about being a fuel injection experiment but guess what - the original FI unit Shelby installed was long gone) that Craig Jackson (of barrett-jackson) shoved down everyone's throat for over a year with massive campaign as the greatest Shelby in history (it isn't)..

Huge articles in various Mustang magazines (aka free media publicity) and then at auction he put an insane (actual reserve number was secret) reserve on the car to keep it from selling...I forget the final bid that was refused for the car but I believe it was north of $2 mil. The whole thing was a lie intended as nothing more than a publicity stunt..unless he was going to be offered an insane amount of money the car really wasn't for sale. Really trying to use the death of Carroll to try and line his own pocket. Disgusting.
