No need to take it out, just fold it down.......less air resistance...:)
Remove driver, reduces weight, car goes quicker. Scientifically proven by Dr, Atkins.

Update please! :D

Waiting on mine now.
I took it out the box... figured out it doesn't work with mac:frusty:

Reached under the bed for the 10 year old Toshiba laptop....blew the dust off it and fired it up:)

Connected the SCT, and it did 26 updates:headbang:

Put it back in the box, and it's sitting on top of the bookcase.

To much salt on the roads, CBA doing the tune until I get a proper chance to drive it..

Still waiting for the Roush CAI:)

Roads are good again, that horrible grease/sheen they had from super cold weather has gone, now they are just wet and cold, but can go full power again haha.

Nah you will freaking love it as it will speeds up the auto and makes it very firm in the sport/track modes.

Does SCT have a tune for the Roush or you doing it properly and getting Lund?

Had my 3rd revision tune today from them, car is pretty spot on now. :)

Can I ask you guys why you're all going SCT and not COBB Accessport & Tune+?

Ps I love those Pumas but they're getting hard to get hold of in brown (best colour!)

Depends what tuner runs which device, Adamtuned (TUne+) runs COBB AP, so that's required for his tunes, and he's strictly ecoboost only, whereas LUND do the tunes on SCT/NGage.

Sure Gibbo will be over with a proper explanation.

The device is just a tool, so whether you use nGauge, HP tuners, SCT, Cobb, Procal, they are just merely a tool/interface for uploading your tune.

nGauge - Best looking and coolest for Mustang as fits in the vent hole perfect and you can setup custom screens and rev counter / gear change buzzer. Weakness is NO crank re-learn. Very easy to datalog and very quick at flashing tunes!

HP Tuners - Looks rubbish and limited functions, but it means you can write your own tunes for the Mustang and flash them to your car, you do need to buy HP Tuners software suite though, but there is a huge following and the actual process of tuning your car is not that difficult plus the bulletin boards are full of useful info and base maps to work with.

SCT - One of the best supported devices and has excellent in dept datalogging ability when paired with a laptop and SCT Livewire software. Plus it has crank re-learn which can often need doing when flashing a tune for the first time to turn off engine light.

Cobb - Not used a cobb for a very long time, but is normally associated with turbo tuned cars.

Procal/Whipple - Software that installs on your laptop and comes with a dongle, works well and has crank re-learn etc. plus its easy to use.

That is the pro and cons of each handheld. :)

Tuner is more important however and you should be going with a tuner who has the most experience with your chosen platform and for us V8 owners that is tuners like JDM, Lund, Livernois etc.

The turbo guys then Adam, Cobb and Lund are good choices!
