Good evening . Thanks to all that responded to my previous thread. I appreciate all of you.
I have noticed when I first get in the car with my phone in my pocket, and also my hearing aids in, that the passenger window starts its up/down business. I have been suspicious of the phone interference with my 2016 vert.
I got a good day today and washed wifes car, and Frosty. I made it a point to leave aids out, and phone in garage 15 feet away from stang.
I was in and out several times, and driver window did what its supposed to do, and on the few occasions the right side did also, with no probs. It even went all way when I was locking up.
Hmmmmm
I also pulled battery cover and looked at battery, and it appears to be original, says FOMOCO on top.
With the tire pressure gremlin,I am beginning to think a new battery may be in order. 4 years is a bit of a stretch on orig battery, even though it presently does fine.
Well guys, whaddaya think?
Best regards. Have a blessed holiday and merry Christmas, etc

New battery may do it. The original Motorcraft is known to fail even before 3 years…

Just a friendly for future reference, if you keep your original thread going it’s easier for us to follow and know that the issue is either resolved or still needs work/help… and it could benefit others in the future too. :)

Was it the battery after all? Nice snowman BTW.
I think it was the connection on the motor. Been ok since dealer was going to replace regulator but had wrong part. So they put it back together and been ok since.
Holding my breath.lol
Thanks y'all.Dave
We should be getting more snowman material shortly

Greetings again. As a followup to our previous post, the dealer repair? didnt last long, so a few days ago, I booked up on youtoob on removing door panel, and did so, unplugged and cleaned with electronics spray, put dielectric grease on all plugs, and reassembled.
Sooooooo far, so good. We shall see. If I need to replace motor, doesnt look like a big deal.
Getting new tires and sensors this week. Present tires close to wearbars.
Had my long time service shop put him on the lift and we checked everthing underneath, brakepads at +80 %. When I get new tires, I am heading for Gauley Mountain road, a curvy tortuous 2 lane I dearly love. All my stangs have had many runs up there.
Hope you all have a wonderful spring. Yehaa!! Best regards, Dave n Frosty

Enjoy it. Thanks for the update. Sometimes you just gotta try stuff to figure it out. Good luck and stay safe!

No one has replaced the door latch? My car did this and i found the switch in the latch causing the issue. Its a pretty common issue.
