Monochrome tri-bar Pony?

I really don't like the monochrome tri-bar pony on the back of the v6 2015 Mustang. How do I bring the glory colors of Red White and Blue behind the pony.

1, Hand paint colors?

2, Vinyl tape cut to size?

3, Sharpie every few weeks?

4, Glue or melt glass?

Any ideas welcome,

It's your car so you can do what you want but my suggestion would be don't fcuk with it.

I'll bet it won't be long before you see some vendors coming out with different options / colors to replace the OEM

I have also wondered about how to best do that. I've thought about hand painting, but I have a feeling it might not come out that well (at least if I do it). I also thought about masking the badge and then spray painting each color. That might give a more uniform appearance than hand painting with a brush, but masking it might be tricky depending on the three-dimensional shape of the badge.

I think the best thing to do is to wait until the cars are on the lots. Then you can take a look at the badge to see what approach seems like it would work best.

I bought touch up paint and did it with a very small brush and toothpicks

I Agree, the Pony with the Chrome Bar is Just That, it's Not a Tri-Bar Pony without the Red, White, and Blue. I think it was a Very Bad and Un-Patriotic Move by Ford to Drop the Colors. The Mustang is an American Icon and the Red, White, and Blue Tri-Bar Represented it's Heritage.

You wouldn't see Ferrari leaving the Green, White, and Red out of their Emblem.

To me the Bar and Pony on the V-6 is a Disgrace and just looks Cheap and Unfinished. Just like the Fully Painted Rear Diffuser.

Old school Pinstripe painters can do this freehand, probably. Ask around your neck of the woods for reccomendations. If they don't know at the dealer, ask a local body shop for someone. Typically, they travel between body shops just painting pinstripes... or you can do it with touch-up paint, the brushes are real small so you can probably do a satisfactory job yourself. Once the car's released, you could always order a replacement emblem and try painting that before you paint the one on your car too...

The Red is the one you'll need to be very particular with. Red fades the worst unless you use a paint designed to stand up to Sun and tge Effects of UV light.

I think the Smaller Pony with the Red, White, and Blue looks much better on that photoshopped pic, but still don't like that Fully Painted Diffuser. I guess it really doesn't matter though, since there is No Premium Trim Oprion for the V-6 so that means No Two Tone, Black and Painted Diffuser, and Since the Eco-Boost just gets the Larger Pony without the Bar, I'm Good, since I'm going for a Premium Eco-Boost Fastback.

I didn't know about the diffuser, good eye! I hope v6 looks better in person and DIB.
