the most recent i saw was 2 weeks back and black one. it had 60k written on it. and btw now they have only 2 left in stock., 3 were sold recently.
interesting that they sold 3 in such a short period of time. i'd be curious to know what they sold for. if i'm not mistaken they were sitting for a LONG time

Hello Muztank,

Having read your original post, I would point you at a used 2010+ Nissan GTR. I had a new 2014, and the car is amazing. With a bit of shopping, the prices are only marginally different than what you would spend on a totally modified Mustang, and without trying to start a "mine is faster" argument here, there is little or no comparison with regard to performance, even to the turbo Porsche. The GTR is fast. Go drive one. Ask someone else that's had, or has one.

The biggest downside I remember was the instant pseudo-celebrity status. People want to look/touch/sit/crawl under it, and ask self evident questions, i.e "Is it fast?", etc.. That's why I sold mine.

Parts and maintenance are not inexpensive, but normal upkeep on a bone stock GTR isn't bad, and if you get the itch, modifying one of these is easy and 700 horse on 93 Octane pump gas is no problem.

Just my two centavos.

I don't own a supercharged Mustang nor have I ever owned a GTR BUUUUT I went on a joy-ride last May in a GTR...you spoke of being pinned back in your seat, that joy-ride instantly came to mind! Thing was a beast with the AWD. About two months ago a good friend took me for a ride in his Whipple-charged 'S550, that ride around the block instantly made me think of the joy-ride in the GTR, same pin your ass back in the seat sensation. The only real difference between the two rides was the GTR just hunkered down and took off like a possessed dog and the Stang tended to get a little tail-end happy due to the rear-wheel drive.

So to answer question #2, yes you can supercharge a Mustang and be more than happy with the newfound power-level.
2. Having only ever been in my own Mustang, which only has 1k miles on the clock, I'm having to guess that these things really do get that much better at handling? and that the ridiculous power figures attained by supercharging really are as impressive as they sound in real life? I mean 650 horse power should really feel even quicker than a Turbo S, but does it?
I'd very much love to hear some experienced owner opinions on the performance of their vehicles, particularly those of you that have supercharged and have experience driving in or being a passenger of more stockish supercar type vehicles outside of modified mustangs e.g. 911 Turbo, GTR, R8 v10 etc

thanks!

Yep agree with all re GTR, at Cars & Coffee those cars are like rock-stars. They really never impressed me - appearance-wise. But all that changed last summer after being taken to an inch of my life while riding in the passenger seat. All I can is I wanted outta the car and I love quick cars LOL! Had one wanna run me on the I-15 about a month ago, it was heavily modded, so based on my experience I played with him a little bit let him go on his merry way :hail:
