MMR's Block / Bellhousing Braces help prevent common cracking of the engine block and or bellhousing on all 5.0 / 5.2 Applications due to vibration and harmonics.

basically, yes. The GT500 uses the oil pan to support the bottom of the bellhousing. Unfortunately the GT500 oil pan does not connect to the 6 speed transmissions so this is why we manufactured the braces (to essentially do the same thing)

I am interested in this product, however I see many reviews that this requires modifications to the heat shield around the mounting locations ?

Is this true ? Can you share the installation instructions here ?

I didn’t have to modify anything when I installed these on my 2019 Bullitt. They’re very easy to install (3 bolts per brace).

I just installed mine. I removed my passenger side pan heat shield and applied DE heat barrier adheasive tape where the heat shield was. The drivers side I cut the rear bottom portion so the brace would fit without self induced stress. I wrapped my LTH with.DE titanium heat wrap. So I don't have much heat in that area anyways. Good luck.
