Wow that is terrible, sorry to hear. My key fobs arrived still sealed in plastic so at least those were safe. Hopefully Ford can get us the parts we need replaced in a timely manner. I'm concerned that the order for my new splitter will be avoided for a while if they are low on parts for production. I'm hoping my dealer puts proper pressure on Ford to get it shipped out immediately. My car had 18 (or 28) miles on it.
My brother watched it come off the trailer, so it wasn't driven by the dealer.
My car was missing one of the fob, and the other fob had the snake pryed off.
Apparently the transport drivers like such things.
My dealer is yet to give the correct fobs as a replacement.
And, my car was missing the drivers side rear mud flap (or whatever it is called.)
You have weather in San Francisco? ;)I'm sure it wasn't the dealer. Although I wasn't there when it was rolled off the truck and don't trust them very much, I was there 12 hours later and the weather in between (overnight) would not have allowed for a test drive of any length. Had to wait out the whole next day for things to clear up enough to drive away. Also photos of the car still on the transporter show the protective coverings are already missing.
I picked my car up in New York. You would be correct though, San Francisco certainly never has any sort of weather that prevents driving. You have weather in San Francisco? ;)
I've been there a bunch of times and never experienced anything other than calm and comfortable.
I would laugh at you if I was that dealer. Especially if I was certain nobody at my dealership did any of that.I wouldn't accepted delivery and demand a replacement.
Makes sense.I picked my car up in New York. You would be correct though, San Francisco certainly never has any sort of weather that prevents driving.
I agree plus the main question is if doesnt have a scratch on it who cares about the stupid plastic?I would laugh at you if I was that dealer. Especially if I was certain nobody at my dealership did any of that.
If you must know it does have scratches and damaged paint that I'm working with them to resolve, because it appears to have happened from rough shipping. I did not refuse delivery or even consider doing so and if they don't agree with me on a way of solving it I'll be happy with my car overall and just deal with it. I'm sorry you find it ridiculous but it has nothing to do with wanting pieces of plastic that makes me wonder what happened to it. My car was driven more than the average, shows signs of having protective pieces removed, and the paint is damaged in a few places (bumpers only). It definitely leaves me with a few questions about how the car was handled between the factory and dealer.I agree plus the main question is if doesnt have a scratch on it who cares about the stupid plastic?
That's a bit ridiculous.
The splitter they will get the missing part, its not the only 350 with a missing piece of splitter (or entirely)
Again, the splitter is shipped in a box if you read this subsection. No one "did" anything to it. Some here didn't get ANY of the pieces with the car- no box. The dealership will order it and install it when it comes in.
