Hi
I have a 17 PP1 that I track extensively and want to add an oil cooler
A pretty common cooler kit is the Mishimoto but the only data that I can find regarding the testing they did between their kit and the factory system is 100% BS for marketing and not useful at all for real data
They tested at moderate speed on the road and showed 200* for the factory and 160* for their kit and concluded from this worthless test than their kit is much better
Obviously, the factory system is water Cooled and therefore 200* is what you would expect under light load and regulated by the water temperature
What I want to know is how much cooler the oil is, with their kit, if any, under track condition
Anyone have some real data?
