Has anyone fitted this kit to their rhd Mustang themselves ? Oil filter access is a pain.

I havent but I can confirm on 2018+ Mustang GT's access to the oil filter is impossible unless you jack it up or are extremely slim and have very long arms!! Which I am neither!!

Personally I am not comfortable using a standard jack and then going underneath a really heavy car!!! Not for me. Even the Ford assistance chap wouldnt using a trolley jack on a tarmac drive in case of a unexpected collapse of the tarmac which actually happened a few doors down from me.

I think it can be done on jack stands. Remove air box/intake for better access from the top. It won't be fun.

I would also caution that the sandwich plate brings the oil filter closer to the sway bar/chassis/ steering rack which makes it really fun to put the oil filter back on but Ince you get the nack for it, it's doable.

I've actually bought a perfect second hand Mishimoto kit but am having second thoughts on fitting it myself now. I have no help where I live so I think I will sell it .

Dont sell it, its one of the most worthwhile mods if you plan on keeping the car for a while.

I've held mods for months and months before getting round to fitting them, your car will end up in a garage at some point.

Why was the oil cooler removed ?
