Yikes, are those cracks in the seems i see? Is this normal?

I've seen plenty of Michelins do that, and they still make their mileage. No big deal.

Cracks near the worn inside edge aren't very deep - he's wearing through one layer of rubber and getting into the structural stuff, so there's some action going on, and cords will be showing soon.
