You’re thinking directional tires. Inside outside tires can be swapped any direction so long as the same size because they can rotate either direction. When the rear is a different size you obviously can only swap from one side to the other.
Sorry , my mistake . The ones on my Vette are direction not the P4S tires

Got 24 on the front, worn out inside edge. Got 28K on the rear tires and probably could have gone another 1-2K.

Installing PS4's on my 2015 gt auto with 3.31 gears. Had them before but also adding a Gen 5 stage 1 whipple thinking 625 horse.
Not looking for drag race tire but want a tire that hooks great on dry pavement and turns, brakes effectively.
Thinking I will have to be careful in first and second but the tries should be effective for everyday driving in the summer?
Going with Front 285/30/20 and rear 315/30/20.

I bought my car with 10,500 miles on it, and I believe the rears had about 5/32 depth remaining at the time (according to my measurements). I'm at just a hair over 17,000 miles and am at 1/32 now. Will be ordering another pair soon. Front tires measure 5 to 6/32 right now, so they should last through the next set of rears.

Set 1 (MPSS) corded the inside edge at 20k miles and 1 years 6mo old, still lots of tread in the center
Set 2 (MP4S) corded the inside edge at 15.6k miles at 1 year 4 mo old, still lots of tread in the center
Set 3 (MP4S) still going at 16k and I bet they'll get to 20k at 2+ years old but the inside edge is where they are thinnest.

I don't really have much use for summer tires which are older than about 2.5 years anyway. They get too hard from heat cycles and the grip declines too much for my tastes, so I'm not really looking for a summer tire which has outstanding longevity if it comes at the price of performance (and it almost always does)

I got 30k on the backs. Changed out a month ago. Fronts rolling good so far. 5/10. No track. No smoke.

My fronts were down to the cords at 19,000, rears are plenty good yet.

How on earth have you gotten 30k miles on the rears.

I’m not sure. I thought for sure they would never last that long. All highway driving too for the most part. Luck. 🍀

What is the deal with the fronts inside edge burning through tread? Im at almost 24k now and the outside tread is still 6/32 - but the insides are just starting to wear even with the tread lines of the tires..

Alignment is spot on, tire pressures have never ran high or low. I was disappointed to see that its going to need tires in the next few thousand miles when 80% of the tire is still good.

are you sure about that? what is toe? Anyway you bought a mustang, not a mini van and put summer high performance tires on it.
The stock alignment will cut down the inside of the tire. I cant remember when I changed my fronts if it was camber or toe...but I did ask them to adjust so it does happen again. I did notice a bit of difference in handling but after a while I cant tell the difference anymore. But last check with 7K on the tires and they are worn evenly. I could have easily got 30K out of the rears, was close.

I have a 2019 Bullitt with 16,000 miles and I expect to get at least another summer season out of the PS4Ss. So that's 3 summers. I run snow tires in the winter (Chicagoland area) and the rears only got me 2 seasons. I do tend to drive hard. I will definitely be replacing the PS4S, I think they are a great performing tire.
Your in Homer Glen, I am down the road in Orland Park. My buddy has a Bullitt too who lives in Lockport.
