After selling my last muscle car in 2012, a nitrous huffing, low 10 second, daily driver, 98 Pontiac Formula (bought new), I settled into the German scene for a while with a BMW 330CIc and a Mercedes SLK280. After Ford, redesigned the Mustang in 2015, I did my best not to take a closer look, as I was secretly in "lust". Then one day, after my wife saw me reading on line about them............. again, she said the 5 words that completely broke my willpower, "Just go and buy one".

Found exactly what I wanted at the dealer, 5 minutes away, and picked her up 13 February, 2016.

With less than 50 miles on the odometer, the mod's began with a Magnaflow Street CB:

In April, I had a work related trip to Dallas, so used that as a excuse to drive down and make a visit to Big Worm Graphics in Fort Worth. Had them apply their "Super Snake" stripe kit in matte black and blacked out emblems, also in matte, all the way around:

When I got back home, my Steeda clutch spring was waiting, so took 5 minutes, and installed that. Biggest "bang for the buck" so far!

After months of indecision, on what to get, I placed a order, last Thursday, with beefcake on a FI kit:

- Procharger P-1SC w/helical gear set (told Terry I was looking for 8-9 PSI, so I don't know the pulley size)
- BAP
- DW 95lb injectors
- Nguage
- Lund Remote Tune

Parts are trickling in, injectors and Nguage are already here.

I'm going to try and get some baseline numbers, but they aren't very important at this point. I'm not a "dyno junkie" and wont be hitting the track very often, if at all (or I'd of gotten a auto). This project is just for me to have some fun with!
Stay tuned for updates

Well, the physical part of the install is done, just working on the remote tune with Lund now.

6 hours for the install according to Procharger, well, I guess if you've already done a half dozen or so, LOL! But, it wasn't bad at all, actual "hands on time", well, probably about 8 hours or so.

A couple of tips for anyone that is considering this kit:

- I was concerned with the radiator hose being pretty tight up against the fan housing after installing the hose adapter. This is actually alleviated further into the install with new radiator brackets that will pull the radiator fwd about a inch. I'd think that Procharger would have this as a note in the instructions.
- I mounted the horn to the inside of the spot that Procharger showed, much simpler to make the electrical connections.

Like I said earlier, still working with Lund on the tune. Up to Rev 4 and datalogging WOT pulls, 2500-7200. Still a little choppiness down low but above 4K, pulls like nobodies business.
