Man would that piss me off big time. Didn't order stripes on my black car and no detail shop during PDI . Make them send it out to a professional dealer who installs stripes.

I didn't. Owned it for about 18 hours.
Wow those scratches are pretty deep. No scratches on the paint tho? They look too deep to be covered up by polish. Maybe clear bra would cover it. But since car is new, I'd ask dealer to reapply new factory stripes kit.

Yes, combined with the fact that there was other damage to vehicle during transport, it needed a new door seal and had a significant paint flaw on the hood, I elected not to pay $60k+ for a such a vehicle.

It's kind of killing me that Ford will ship a RHD ecoboost mustang to europe covered, a $46k 50 year ltd mustang covered, but can't be bothered to ship a $58k GT350 covered.

Yup, marring extended in to the paint. It just wasn't as noticeable on the white surfaces. You can see it a little in the last photo.

Yeah it looks like they just took a sponge to the cars dirty surface and never rinsed it. For washing I always move the sponge in one direction, never in a circle.

This is really starting to pss me off. We wait and wait and pay for one of the most talked about and most anticipated mustangs not to mention most expensive. Just to wait months and months to receive this bs. I never owned anything but fords my whole life and I'm a die hard ford guy. I will not accept mine if it's like this either. I'm tired of the results so far. I'm tired of the dealer lies as to the shipping dates and talking to ford on the phone is pointless. It's the same story all the time. Oh your car was built on 10-20 but it's still in holding. Wtf. Holding for what?? Well sir I'm not sure. Wtf is your job if you can't give answers except I don't know sir?? It's bs. It was a hurry up and place your order and now it's hurry up and wait. And wait and wait. For what? A brand new flawed car that you spend your hard earned money on just to be disappointed by its brand new appeance? Wtf can't they hire a shipping company that ships on time and handles with care? For $900.00 they suck. I've had cars shipped before that I paid less through reliable and they were careful and flawless. Great people to deal with. Ford get your head out of your ass before you piss off everyone else.

That really sucks that they don't put a cover on so called limited production ford performance products. Just marketing hype. But you did the right thing and not put up with this incompetence big time. If and when my run of the mill so called limited production gets here with this quality I will not pay for it.
I'm starting to worry if my car didn't pass inspection because it hasn't been shipped yet.

Your call, but I don't understand why you didn't just have the dealership replace the stripes.

Yeah, because there's definitely not going to be any issues with that procedure right? I considered it. But I'm standing there and the GM is talking to the body shop guy and the body shop guy says "No, we don't do stripes here, we have to farm it out to Fernando."

And as I said, there were half a dozen other damage/defect items on the car. I could list them but what's the point.
