Has anyone tried Mothers Back to Black or Meguiar's Ultimate Black Plastic Restorer on their stripes?

I'm afraid to try since they are intended for interior vinyl and hard plastic outside trim.

I've been using Black Max by Surf City Garage products for the vinyl stripes on my 12 Boss and will be using on the Shelby as well. Worked great on some minor scratches in the Boss stripes.
