Anyone else have this issue? I set my car to automatically scoot the seat back when I turn the car off with "easy entrance/exit" or whatever it is called and I programmed where I like my seat. The problem is, when I click the button when I get back in the car, it rarely goes all the way up now to where it was programmed. Usually I have to push it twice, sometimes even three times. I will push it once, it will go up some, but I will have to push the same button once or twice more for it to fully return where I programmed it.

Mine fails to automatically move to the preset about 35% of the time but always moves to the right spot when I press the button (I've never had to press it more than once). Apparently there is a body control module update that addresses this but I havent been able to find any details that I can pass to the dealer service to get it fixed.

Thanks, let me know if you find anything so I can tell them the same!

I have a premium GT and don't have memory seat buttons. I've always wondered why the mustang didn't have them. Now you say you guys have them. Was my car built wrong or was this an option I didn't get?

What is the blind spot alert?
Blind Spot Information System (BLIS®) with Cross-Traffic Alert
The available BLIS® with cross-traffic alert* helps make driving more convenient. It uses radar to identify if a vehicle is detected in your blind spot and alerts you with an indicator light in the appropriate exterior mirror. Cross-traffic alert also uses radar to watch for traffic behind you as you’re slowly backing out of a parking spot or driveway. If cross-traffic sensors detect a vehicle approaching from up to 15 yards away, you will be audibly and visually alerted.

On my car, I don't have to press the memory seat button when I get in. I have the dash setting selected for easy exit/enter and seat slides back when I turn car off. When I get in, as soon as I press the start button, seat slides forward to where it last was before I turned car off.

If my foot isn't on brake and clutch, it still slides forward when I power on car without starting engine. Since I'm the only driver, I just use the memory buttons for mirrors when backing. 1 is set how I like to drive and 2 lowers them so I can see curbs and parking lines easier.

Huh, I did not know that. I use that feature too, but I was just using it to make getting out of the car easier. When I got back in I always used the memory seats before turning on the car, I'll try that! Thanks man!

Nope, seat doesn't go back to normal position and I still have to push the button 1-3 times. Looks like I eventually need to take it into the dealer.

Try disconnecting battery for a few minutes and then reconnecting. This will reset a lot of the electronics. If that doesn't solve your problem, I'd take it to dealer. Or just take to dealer if you're not happy having to disconnect battery, etc. One time my seat acted up like your describing, but it went back to normal within same day of driving (a couple starts) and I had no issues since.

Oh I didn't realize it does the mirrors also.
