Well at least the article confirms what I've been thinking: this car has a fair bit of bump steer.

"Most agreed the three-mode electric steering was best left in the Normal setting, but some said its tendency to buck and wallow over harsh mid-corner bumps at high speed made it less than confidence-inspiring at the limit than, say, the smaller and lighter M2."

I agree that the normal steering feel setting feels best, which is a pain because i'm usually in sport+ driving mode, which sets the steering to sport. Funnily enough I thought the steering modes were a gimmick, but I have been using Comfort in car parks haha

There's a nice write up in the current Open Road (NRMA) magazine.
No online version...

It talks about the previous two times the Mustang was sold in AU and why it didn't take off each time (mostly cost); a quick comparison to rivals like the A5, M4, etc

... and makes it sound like a pretty damn good GT car

I don't know how they only managed 12.7L/100 Km in the ecoboost
By doing something stupid like parking the car and leaving the motor running while parked for an hour or 2 would do it;)

I consistently get 9.3 and 7.5 on long trips, and I don't hold back on the go pedal. Mine are mostly country k's mind, but so were the reviewers..
Agreed, I have hardly ever seen mine go over 10L/100km, resetting trip computers and giving it a bit on the odd occasion, :D

Is that a question SSB?
One that the article appears to be asking and answering.
On Facebook they title it "Why a manual Ford Mustang is the way to go."
