Love watching Mecum and Barrett Jackson. One of my all time favorites, 1992 Ferrari F40, just sold for $2.85 million. Such a beautiful car

The amount and quality of cars is insane. If you haven’t been in person you should.

Did you buy anything? 😁

Been watching it - definitely everyone unloading the Super Birds, that's for sure... for a while there I thought Mecum was owned by the Dodge Brothers... LOL!

I get many were from a "collection", but they should break up the monotony of the same car after same car after same car... intermingle them is all I'm saying...

I actually like Mecum much better than Barrett Jackson... their environment is not just the pristine, they also push through the original patina and non-restored too.

I’ve been to Mecum here in Chicago and Indianapolis but haven’t been to Kissimmee. Definitely need to get down there at some point. I want to get out to Monterey at some point as well.

nah... my wallet isn't fat enough for the really cool stuff... i saw a coupla auctions that i considered fair buys but none that really had my interest... you kinda have to go into these auctions without being afraid to throw down 100K (or more)... and the wifey would rather go on 4 or 5 ocean cruises if i'm lookin to spend that much... 😬
there's 3 or 4 shelbys up tommorrow...coupla mid 60s GTOs... prolly all out of range but hey... a guy can dream

The Superbirds are fun to watch roll through though. Such a cool car. And to think, nobody wanted them back in the day. Closest I’ll ever get to one is my Hallmark ornament

The nascar one that went through for over a mil was really slick.

Yeah it is. I’m rewatching it now because I missed a chunk of it because of my son’s basketball game. The Hemi Daytona’s are awesome too. My son (who is now 14) loved watching Disney’s Cars when he was little, he watched it pretty much every day. Every time he sees a Superbird, he always tells me that The King was the same car. And I always say, yes and he was voiced by the king himself Richard Petty. Movies like that give me hope that his generation will still have some interest in cars.

Very cool. I have twin five year old boys. My older is an absolute car nut. My younger just really likes them. Both love the Cars movies. Mine will both learn how to work on stuff and use there hands.

Ha, yeah I’ve been to FL in the summer. The humidity is other worldly. It’s nice this time of year though.
