Install wasn't too bad, CJ pony parts has install vid and mbrp has a vid of the sound

I think its sounds ok, I run catless tho and its pretty loud and drones a lot at cruise and really bad on going up hill. doubt itll be that bad if youre running stock downpipe with it.

What type of increases are you noticing with the race MBRP? I like the sound from the clips I have heard and they are 3 inches wide too I believe. I'm sure the increase would be pretty nice with a tune as well.

I have an MBRP race catback (stainless) on my car. It's the only performance mod I have along with springs so not sure if I'm the right guy to speak on performance given that I installed it after only 400 miles. I do love the sound though, it's god a nice deep purr but isn't too much and doesn't permeate the cabin.

For the price I'd recommend it. It's easily $3-400 less expensive than anything else out there and MBRP has been around for some time. I wouldn't say it's super loud. It's deep and you can definitely tell it's modified. I went to my Ford dealer the other day to get my wheels aligned and they all definitely heard it and asked me what kind of exhaust I got. I posted a sound clip onto the EcoBoost Facebook group - not sure if the link will work but here it is:

I mean if u get an aftermarket 3 inch downpipe to go with the mbrp exhaust. The mbrp's mid pipe is 3 inch but the end that connect to the downpipe is 2.5. So my question is how has people resolved this bottleneck?

Yeah normal install should be straight forward but what about those of us that want to upgrade the downpipe do we need to cut and weld?
