Good morning, I currently have the MBRP muffler delete axleback on my 2015. Sound is pretty good, but I am contemplating adding the MBRP X pipe in place of the resonators and wondering if anyone has this combo. Curious as to just how loud it is while driving. Since my car is a Vert, I want it loud when it needs to be but mild while just cruising around with the top down.

With the muffler delete and no mid resonator it will be stupid loud.

H pipe will sound better. Then you'll basically have the MBRP race which imo sounds godly

If you plan on keeping your factory cats, the res delete with the muffler delete will be loud but not terrible.
Every res/muffler delete I've heard sounds like ass, especially WOT. But if you like raspy trumpity noise, more power to you.

I have cat back MBRP mufflers race with the H pipe set up and I love the sound. But if are looking for the open header sound this is not it. This is Deep throaty and strong. They turn heads in a good way.

OP has the muffler delete, not the race version. He has straight pipes with a helmholtz resonator. All that does is stop drone. Get rid of the mid resonator and add an X pipe, and it will sound very bad. IMO

Kind of like open headers.

The guy accross the street has a Cadilac V8 with the mufflers cut off, It is loud but I love the sound of it when he leaves the house and gets on it. It is a super charged 6. somthing. We are going to run his and my mustang soon. I have 2015 5.0 with the perfromance package. MBRP cat back exhaust, one piece drive shaft and a CAI. We are friends so it will be fun.

The MBRP's are the race version with H pipe.
