Just wanted to see how many former Mazdaspeed guys/gals were here. I know I was drawn to the eb mustang solely on its powertrain, and IRS. Post up pics of your speeds and list what you had done if you can. Thread can serve as a good place to chat as well!

I had a 2011 GenPu and a 2006 Speed 6.

I wouldn't say either of them was fully bolted, but they each had a few improvements.

Here's a quick unformatted list of everything the two of them had. The 3 had a CS intake, FMIC, HPFP internals, ebay downpipe, JBR RMM, JBR swaybar. The 6 had a Cobb intake, CS TMIC, ebay downpipe, CP-E single exit exhaust, HPFP internals, JBR RMM, AWR side mounts, CP-E Rear diff mount, whiteline RSB, Eibach Prokit springs, Bilstein B8s, and a rfinkle2 tune.

Oh and the Perm buttplug shift knob <- most important mod.

Unfortunately, I was never good at glamour shots so the terrible attachments are what they are.

Did you favor one over the other? I always wanted a speed 6. They are getting pretty cheap now. Another 3 years or so and I'll probably have one for a project car.

Since I got rid of the speed I have yet to drive anything as fun as it was. But it reaked of pcv fumes and was terrible to DD with all that was done to it (mounts, ingalls stuffy, super stiff coilover settings)

I definitely liked the 6 more, but it took work to really get there. The biggest negatives to the 6 are that it shows it's weight in comparison to the 3, and there's a bit more to keep track of and upgrade to before you can really play.

As much as I liked it, my 6 ended up being a terrible dd because all of the small things that kept breaking. Nothing out of the ordinary for the mileage, only the frequency. Driving it was heaven though. The suspension was perfect for me, and finkle is a magician when it comes to tuning.

If you get a project, do yourself a favor and buy the absolute base model 6. The grand touring package, nav, and sunroof add stupid amount of weight.

Had a 2011 for a while. Such an awesome car and do miss it. Never did anything with it. If I had it for any longer I probably would have.
