If you want a 19x10", we keep it simple and it's only offered in 19x10" +40mm, so you'd need 2" bolt on spacers which would be fine to use from a good company like Motorsport-Tech.com
I want 19, but no restriction on anything else. Don’t want spacers if I can get away with it

Try playing around with this calculator https://tiresize.com/wheel-offset-calculator/

1.5" is just under 40mm, and my current setup is flush with 305/35/20 on a 20x11 +50 wheel in the rear, so theoretically you'd need a 20x11 +10mm setup if that makes sense

You might get some ideas from the wheels & tires section of the forum, but I don't remember seeing anything on the widebody fenders. Your safest bet would be to get advice from one or more of the wheel sponsors, ex: @Apex Wheels.
Apex wheels cost me about $6000 (six thousand$) and still no wheels. Will not deal with them ever again!

Very sorry to hear that. I have no experience with that company; I only suggested them based on what I saw in other people's posts.

We would like to address this claim for anyone else reading this post.

You had emailed us in late 2023 asking some fitment questions and for a discount on a set of EC-7 wheels, which we promptly answered. A couple of weeks went by and you then emailed us again, to inform us that you wrote a check and mailed it to our headquarters trying to purchase a set of wheels. That check was not requested by Apex, and was not for the correct amount. While we appreciated your desire to do business, Apex does not accept checks for orders, and we informed you multiple times that any order would need to be placed through our website.

The check was immediately returned to you once we received it - we did not even open the envelope. To date, Apex has collected $0 from you, and we will never take money from a customer unless an order has been placed.

You have communicated multiple times since then that this $6,000 you mention is referring to lost revenue for your business (which you describe as “cost”), due to you not receiving a set of wheels from Apex. While we appreciate that you wanted to purchase a set of our wheels, Apex does not have control or responsibility for your personal plans for that product, and we have no control or responsibility over your own personal business expenses. Again, no official order was ever placed by you for our wheels through our website.

For anyone else reading this, all of our pricing is available 24/7 through our website, apexwheels.com. We have both Fitment Experts available to help with 1:1 fitment questions, either by emailing [email protected] or by giving us a call. Similar, we have a support team that is available anytime via [email protected] or by phone.

We have been an engaged vendor within the Mustang community for over 10 years now, and we are proud of the reputation that we’ve built over that time.

Hi,
David Vizard here.
I am responding to APEX wheels response to my post which went thus:-
Apex wheels cost me about $6000 (six thousand$) and still no wheels. Will not deal with them ever again!

Let me make it clear now (maybe should have done so at the time of this post) that the $6000 I was out of pocket was due to missed copy dates on the production of a wheels video.

This was brought about by what in their case was, in the grand scheme of all things APEX, a very minor oversite. It was an oversight that might have only impacted as few as half a dozen folks world wide. The average guy would have been totally unaffected by this very minor oversight.
If we add to that the fact that I failed, in somewhat of a bigger way, to familiar myself with their marketing and sales procedure's, we ended up with what appeared to be a really big confrontational situation.

So what's the status now?

Here is the current situation.

Dan, Apex's PR, marketing guy and general problem solver reached out to me IN HIS OWN TIME and we debated how best to deal with the unintended side affects of our respect positions here. I have to say that Dan's logic and cool composure here led to an understanding of each of our positions in this forray. I'd like to say thanks Dan, for a very professional and civilized discussion. As a result of Dan's efforts here we have not just moved us back to our starting position but actually advance to what could be a very beneficial position as far as wheels and how best to use them for the best road grip. What they have coming up could well be tech that is not only advanced but also just not available elsewhere.
I am looking forward to help them make all and sundry aware of the data gathered.

Next point to consider here. Will I be doing business ever again with APEX?
Yes I realize I said never again but that was before sorting this out. Although the oportunity to do a video on the pro's and con's of APEX wheels has come and gone I am unlikely to use their wheels for the foreseeable future. I have already got the next set of conventional wheels (19 x 11) sorted out for the PowerTec 10 project 2.3 Mustang and the set after that will be of carbon fibre construction. But back to APEX.

I see to many questions asked about what size wheels should be used with what tires. Got to APEX's web site and you will find a very comprehensive set of charts showing what fit's what done on various performance levels such as street - no wheel arch mods, track day car with no arch mods and with arch mods and the list goes on. It's all logically set out and I have used these charts to good effect.

Lastly, for the sceptics:- How do I know APEX wheels are as good as I am making out here. I have friends who are serious racers and they have friends who are also serious racers. Questions to numerous APEX users has convinced me they are good as I received not one negative appraisal.

Last word on this - thanks Dan.

David Vizard.
