So I have a unique scenario. I have a 2020 GT but have the OEM GT500 front end. I’m using the wheels I originally bought for my GT but I have to run a 2in spacer, since the GT500 fenders are 2in wider, the fit is perfect. My question is everywhere I look the offset for the GT500 wheels doesn’t seem aggressive enough it’s almost like the front hubs sit out wider then the stock GT.
Im about to order some 3 piece wheels and need to know if I ask for GT500 spec or not. Posted a pic of my car for reference

2” wider? On each side? Not sure where that number is coming from.

Unless you modified the front fender, the wheel fit should be the same as for a GT.

I’ll stop there because I’m obviously missing something.

What offset are the wheels which fit right with the 2” spacers?

Read my post again.

I have GT500 OEM fenders much wider than the normal 5.0 fenders. Looking for correct offset

You are correct the GT500 is wider than a GT, although it’s not 4” wider (it’s about 1.5” wider per Ford’s official measurements). I believe the front hubs are also different as the OEM GT500 wheel size/offset will not work on a GT without modifications. I’m not into the weeds as far as part numbers but can help point you to some folks here who can get that info for you

Exact measurement aside I’m fitting a 2 inch spacer on perfect 2020 GT spec wheels. I ordered these wheels from BC forged specifically for my car before I did the front end swap. Yes with 2in spacers there is like a .5 in poke so not exactly 2 inches wider on each side but a very good fitment. My issue is looking at the offset between the GT500 and the 5.0 it’s not much different but the with of the fenders of my original GT vs the now GT500 is so drastic I don’t see how offset wise that’s possible. To me the offset between the normal 5.0 and GT500 should be way different I’m running a 19x11 +28 offset yet need a 2in spacer to make it fill in the GT500 fender.
