Not a fan of the aftermarket knobs, the stock Mach 1 ball is perfect size and look imo.

I am curious as to whether a weighted knob makes a difference. The factory knob seems weighted and my replacement is not.

Highly recommend a weighted shift knob, I’m running the racseng 1.5 lb shift knob and it makes a world of a difference

So what is the thread pitch or size? I’m a little confused.
GT’s are M12x1.25 and 350’s are M10x1.25 :like:

I would expect the Mach to fall in line with the 350 rather than the GT, but this comment from a Mach owner, to a Mach owner and posted in the Mach forum would be enough for me to check it out properly (unless I misunderstand the context) :

Stock GT350 knob has different threads - if you want that style, many places sell it with the right threads
Ford Performance make a great looking knob, if you can be bothered to put some time into paint filling and polishing it properly :

Well, FWIW the MGW Shifter for GT350 and Mach 1 is supposed to take the factory knob on its thread as well, so I would expect them to have the same thread.

I am wanting to get a cosmic red knob from billetworkz but cannot find in my search if they can be purchased without any pattern or logo. And is there a "store" at their shop where I can stop in when I head to Carlisle?
I like the white one but the somewhat raised pattern bothers me. You get what you pay for I suppose.
