So I was browsing earlier today and saw a picture of this spoiler on the speedkore gt350r.
I liked the aggressive look of it albeit that car looks a lot more aggressive than mine even without the wing. I recently designed and fabricated my own custom front splitter and thought maybe I would take a shot a spoiler similar to this. I started modeling it in CAD this morning so this is the first rendition. I already see some tweaks I want to make.
I would definitely make the wing adjustable so it can tilt on the mounting brackets. Thinking .187 aluminum for mounting brackets and .125 aluminum for the wing itself. Most likely it would be a bolt together design to avoid weld warping. I may need thicker material for the actual wing to reduce deflection but I will evaluate that after the fit up test. Thoughts?
