For a qualified shop this install should be no more than 2Hrs/$250.00 to install at most. It is 90% Bolt on, we include detailed pictured installation instructions, the welding that needs to be done is not in a difficult location at all and can be done rather quickly by an experienced muffler shop.
Thanks

Ive been hesitant to pull the trigger on these because of the install. anyone sure how much its going to cost to have these installed? The driver side one looks tricky...
Go give my friend Rich a call at EFI POWERHOUSE in San Jose for a quote. Tell him Rio sent you..

well im trying not to spend too much. Just trying to get away with the minimum mods to hold me over until the summer while I'm saving for a few months for a blower. Thanks though, I will definitely hit them up.

I was leaning towards the vortech package from beefcake, but just waiting till a few people do it and i can get their thoughts on them. I'm still a couple months out anyway from buying. There should be quite a few people on the forums with them installed by then to get a good feel for em.

Update: Cat Delete Install went great today. Car is loud, but it is very quiet at cruise on the freeway. No drone! This was a concern, but after 40 miles of driving in all conditions I can confirm there is zero drone.

Pic is a side comparison of stock vs cat deletes.

Relatively easy install? This is a very tempting way to go since headers are so expensive, but since I'll be getting a custom tune when I get my supercharger I'm hard pressed not to just bite the bullet. I also don't know how comfortable I am with cutting and welding (even though it appears to be not much welding).

Install time was 1 hour and I paid $240.00 for labor.
For the money it is a excellent choice IMO. Headers are better, but that will set you back about $1,000 more, and at least $300 more in labor. The car runs so much stronger with better throttle response and top end. Keep in mind that the car is not tuned for it, but it is still very noticeable. I'm very happy with it overall and I will recommend this as a alternative to long tube headers.

That looks to be a larger OD pipe does that affect your ground clearance at all?

One would assume while your shop is at it they can make it so you can slip your old set up back in via a flange on your stock cat?

No ground clearance issues at all so that's nice. The shop that did my exhaust can flange my old cats, but I killed the cats! Lol In fact now that everything is bolt on I could easily buy a used pair of cats and he could do it later if ever needed. Looking at 1hr tops.

Good to know on the ground clearance. That would have been my only real concern.
