So I installed MAK cat deletes with factory connect and I guess my flange placement was not the best. The pipe is too high and makes contact with the body under hard acceleration causing very loud banging noises. I know the best way to fix this is by cutting the flange and re welding but I don't want to go through all that again. Anyone have the same issues and resolved it another way?

I thought I'd share how I fixed the problem in case anyone else encounters this. I really didn't want to cut that flange out that I welded to the manifold so I just took the MAK pipe out cut the pipe close to the flange and rotated and angled until I got the fitmemt I needed, this time paying more attention to fitmemt before I completely weld.
