Show of hands from anyone who has been or knows someone who has been pulled over and ticketed for having their tint too dark?

I got pulled in my '03 Mach 1 and went through the motions, told the cop it was like that when I bought it and he gave me a warning told me to get it fixed.....AND I DIDN'T! (insert Beavis & Butthead "breakin the law, breakin the law")

Oregon allows only 35% all sides and rear. Front is only top 6".

35% doesn't seem very dark to me from the shot I've seen, 20% is more like what I'd like with my car, but I'll have to see in person.

I may tint the entire front windshield too with something very light...it's legal here if you have a prescription or eye doctors note I'm told...but no clue if true..

As much as I probably want darker than 35%, I'll not go darker out of fear of 'the man'. :(

In regards to tint you not only have to worry about the LEOs you have to worry about insurance. Your insurance can completely write your coverage off in the event of an accident if you have illegal tint. You have to carefully check your policy....

Tinted headlights

A lesser tint that showed the headlights slightly underneath would look better. Those chops look like they're just missing the headlight assembly altogether.

I was at the dealership today and searched for the Magnetic Fords. They didn't have any Guard.


Magnetic vs Sterling Grey. Not sure if it was mentioned here but it's a bit darker than Sterling and seems more pearly.
That could be just my eyes though against darker color.
