Notice many 2018 pp1 have wheel hop in 2nd gear.Does the magnaride cars have less issues.Plan on using stock tires and thought it would work better.

No. My 2018 GT A10 Mag PP hops through 1 & 2; in drag mode. Starting with shifter in S and clicking into D after shifting into second is the best way I’ve found to minimize wheel hop.

The only proven solution is dedicated drag tires.

My best is 12.2 at almost 117 MPH. That run was with the rear sub frame locked out.

Regardless of factory magnaride or not, your best bet to start out with an IRS package like the Bread and Butter Lethal posted. Guys are taking the factory shocks and struts into the mid nights regardless of magnaride or not. The bigger issue with wheel hop is the car not remaining planted and the IRS moving around on the rubber bushings under the car.

Plan on bracket racing with stock set up,do I really need the bread and butter package.Would just the cradle lock outs work.

Been dragracing motorcycles for 40 years,bought this 18 mustang gt pp1.Want to drive 60 miles to track and race.Notice the biggest issue is with wheel hop.Seems the stock tires will work at a lower tire pressure and leaving around 1800 rpms.Just trying not to waste any time figuring things out,Cause my buddys are going to bust my balls,lol.

Well looking at irs brace and cradle lock out,which is the better choice.Trying to buy one that will work the best.
