I purchased a speed form gt350 track pack style spoiler. I have 2015 gt convertible and notice the one outside hole won't line perfectly up but by filing Bhole out I should be able to make it work. However the 2 middle holes won't line up without maybe re drilling. I could of swore on American muscle bit said it would fit vert but whatever. To get the factory spoiler off I just about broke it just getting 3m tape off. Do you think the outside 2 holes will be enough to secure with the 3m adhesive holding rest? I think it's to late to return spoiler as well. Any suggestions are appreciated

@SunBoost just installed the same brand and model of spoiler on his convertible, it was able to fit though.

It's really close to fitting on right side of spoiler when left is screwed in. I would say I can see 3/4 the of the threads in wing. I'm positive just by shaving a bit off the right side whole it would fit. But the center 2 wholes I can't see the threads at all.

Did you have the low lip spoiler on your trunk from the factory?

The factory spoiler holes won’t all line up, but getting the two outer ones on the GT350 spoiler bolted down will hold it securely just fine.

The new spoiler will cover the holes fine. Just concerned if it will not be secured

That's what I was thinking. Does it sit perfectly flush. Cause in the pictures I have seen on American muscle there is some gap as well

Move the spoiler back so the rear sits just on the curved edge, it should have a lip at the back underneath to help line up.

Confused here if I move it back then none of the holes will line up. I have the left side one started. Just thright side one is off by a hair. Like if I took a file and opened hole up 8th of inch it would fit. Just middle 2 are no where close

The shape of the trunk lids are slightly different between the convertible and the hardtop.
An S550 hardtop spoiler will not fit perfectly on a convertible, if it fits at all.

I purchased this one pre-painted for my convertible and I am very pleased with it.
https://www.ebay.com/itm/132012775761

The fit was very good. It wasn't as refined on the non-visible side as I had hoped, but functionally and aesthetically, once installed is very appealing.

The holes of the token spoiler and this spoiler did not align, but the token spoiler holes were completely hidden.

Using the supplied templates according to their instructions worked great for a first time fit.

I'm attaching photos of the completed spoiler.

It fits I just will have to modify one hole.

My question is will it probably be ok without the 2 center holes screwed in. I would prefer to not drill of I have to. The one hole that is not perfectly lined up I should just be able to file a bit off and then it will line up. Looks perfect on it now if it was secured. Here is what description says about fitting vert.

Drilling May Be Required. This GT350 Rear Spoiler was specifically designed to reuse the existing holes left in the deck lid by the stock wing (if so equipped) on the Fastback model. The spoiler installs easily with a combination of hardware and 3M automotive bonding tape, a drilling template is included for the Mustangs not equipped with a factory installed wing. Convertible models equipped with a stock wing will not be able to reuse the factory holes, drilling will still be required for installation.
