It's easy to steal these newer push start cars so I decided to make my own push start kill switch. So even if someone makes a copy of the key or they have a tool to trick the car into thinking the key is inside, they still wont be able to turn the car on and drive off with it. Just with a couple of relays, a module to wirelessly control the relays and a led light to let me know if the module is on or off. Also ran bypass toggle switches just incase something stops working that are well hidden. More peace of mind knowing its harder to steal now.

It's a great idea for sure and thanks for posting up the tech.

I've said it a few times that a kill on an S550 could be implemented at the fuel pump (or even one at the PCM).

Another reason I went this route is because I have a viper alarm. This way, they wouldn't be able to put my viper alarm in valet mode to disable it. I got the idea from the igla security system which is like $1200 and also hard to find someone close by to install that module.

This is awesome! Nice work and hopefully it will help keep the car out of some low-life's hands.
