If you buy HP wheels consider the SVE MHP1 wheels. They are around 11 lbs lighter. I just put on 305/30 front and 325/30 rear PS4S. Car feels amazing. If you do the springs it would lower it perfectly. Mine is not lowered

Do the 305 tires look pinched on the SVE MHP1 19x10 front rims? Michelin recommends 10.5" minimum rim width ...

I’m on wide 20’s with dual rate steeda springs on a non hp M1. I tried 305 up front but had light rubbing on our crappy roads. I swapped them for 285/30/20 and no rubbing at all. I loved the almost zero gap look of the bigger tires up front but it just wasn’t practical.

Yes some would say they looked pinched so you may consider the 295/30 which is what I almost did but changed my mind at last second haha ( I was freaking out about wheel gap)

Tire rack and Michelin both say 10.5” minimum but discount tire website shows 10” ok so I went with the answer I wanted in the first place🥳

I recently picked up a 2022 non-HP Mach 1. I'd like to try Michelin PSS 295/35-19s in the front and 305/35-19s in the rear on the Mach 1 HP wheels. Is this a good tire size/fitment for a "non-HP" optioned car? Anyone running this combo? I'm considering either the Ford Magnaride lower springs (M-5300-W) or the Steed Dual-Rates. I do plan to do some HPDE/track events, but mostly street driving.
Michelin doesn't make that size in one brand. You'll need to mix PS4s up front and PSSs on the back if you can find them.

I was planning to use Michelin PSS's at all 4 corners. I live 25 min from the CT TireRack warehouse and they have them in stock for pickup. :)

I also see both sizes (Pilot Super Sports) available via Amazon. Amazon is $100 cheaper.

Good to know. But make sure you check the DOT. I'm pretty sure they quit making PSSs a while back.

I've never had an issue with TR but if buying off amazon, ensure that the tire dates are not already expired.

Darn 11 lbs is substantial! I didn't look at the SVE wheels and picked up the Ford Racing Mach 1 HP wheels right after I got the car... had a coupon and got them for a really good price.

Stance looks great on your non-HP, thanks for the pic!

Since you went with the 30 series tires is your speedo off at all? Or did you reprogram via Forescan?

Great point!

What is considered to be an expired tire date? I'm almost temped to order 2 PSS"s from Amazon and if they are "old," would send them back. Would be amusing to see the facial expressions at the UPS store when bringing tires return!

4 years from date of manufacture. There is a 4 digit code on the sidewall indicating week and year of manufacture.

Looks like Discount Tire Direct also has the PSS's in stock. Could Michelin have changed directions and made another batch of PSS's?

That doesnt make financial sense but who knows. I would give them a call and ask about DOM.

In the past TR has sold almost expired tires for pennies on the dollar. If they are close to aged out you can leverage that for big savings. But then again you'll have to burn through them to get the most out of them. That's not hard to do though.
