Unfortunate, sad and aggravating but definitely unacceptable. Car identifier aside, the Bullitt cover will work on the stock Mach 1 but those that ordered their car with the Handling Package and the car cover will need a different cover for sure. The larger spoiler and additional front splitter will render a car cover useless or at a minimum ill fitting. If these are on back order, that's understandable but when you pay for something I believe that it's reasonable to expect that you'll get what you pay for. Makes me glad I didn't order the cover.

I didn't see car cover specifically for Mach 1 (yet), looks like there's either for GT or for Bullitt only.

There is an option for a cover when ordering. $395 I think. If it was specific I would of ordered but some research said but was basically junk.

Yeah, but it doesn't say it's Mach 1 specific cover, there's no photo either. Our local configurator shows regular Mustang car cover in the photo without anything Mach 1 specific too.

One would think if they're gonna provide one with Mach 1 logo, it'll be available from the beginning.

I'll be fine with the regular Mustang one, which btw costs here $862...

Ford should at least disclose the logo you are going to get on it, logic would say "MACH 1".

Sorry I can’t help with your question but this is really going to fire up all the guys on here screeching that the Mach 1 is a parts bin car! See.....Ford even dug into the parts bin for car covers for the Mach!!!!!

You know, I was thinking about that parts bin comment today and how dumb it really is if you think about it. Aren't we parts bins of our parents?

i'm pretty confident there will be a 2021 mach1 specific car cover. after all, there were unique covers for the 2012 & 2013 BOSS302s, 2015 LE, GT350s, 2019 & 2020 Bullitts, 2020 GT500 and (to my surprise) Cali Specials.

Yea, I mean if someone is paying the $395.00 for a 2021 Mach 1 car cover and gets one that is specifically for a Bullitt (which isn’t and doesnt spell “Mach 1”), that’s ridiculous!!

I mean, then why is someone having to pay $395.00 for 2019/2020 leftovers? LMAO!

You all should campaigning Ford’s Social Media accounts with the images and complaints - that will gain you some traction.

$395 for a “Bullitt” cover, what a joke and dysfunctional production BS that should not be happening.

So this probably not gonna make anyone here happy unless your looking for a laugh or confirmation not to order a cover but I finally got my cover after waiting 3 weeks. I was thinking maybe it was taking so long because I was one of the first to get the Mach 1 maybe they hadn’t made the cover yet. Haha. Wrong! They took 3 weeks to dig up an old cover from 2019 that was built for the BULLITT.
I called Ford and spoke to someone who didn’t speak very good English which made me a little more mad because I couldn’t even complain to her as she wasn’t understanding me. She kept saying “Mach-E?”
Geez nevermind!!

My guess is their trying to move the bullet covers from stock until someone squeals!

I have the OEM Cover with the vin on it and it’s still in the trunk unopened.. I just wanted every option that was available.

Let them know that this is unacceptable!

So there is in fact a “Mach 1” cover. Proper part number is VMR3Z-19A412-D. They are matched to exterior colors. My dealer is ordering for mine and another they have but currently unavailable.
