Something about the sexy girls next to cars thing annoys the shit out of me. I mean... yay to hot girls but... arg. It works for pinup girls because there's a history to it. This is stupid.

Nope EB doesn't get LL or LC. You have access to them however on the cobb acessport. Bit shizzy. But hey - ho. :headbonk:

Great videos mate, glad your enjoying her, I've spun mine properly in the wet at Donnington, was like a spinning top, but it was when I first got the car and the handling and set was junk and it was on Federal RS-R tyres, terrible in wet.

May I ask what camera your using and where it is mounted please?

I am going Donnington on 21st July, I might be taking Mustang on track, though hoping to go in M3 but it needs new Alcon fronts and I need to source them so might not be done in time and current fronts are so worn that the j-hooks in the disc are no longer visible so do not think I will get away with another track day. :D

Yes, it's a nervous little b@$7@rd in the wet - there was just no warning on the exit of Copse, so lucky the car coming out of the pits was not 100m further up the track. For me it's a little too stiff for the wet, but it's a good dry set up and I haven't got the tools to mess about with geometry specifically for wet days, so I'll just have to experiment with damper settings and tyre pressures for when it's raining. In the dry it's superb - really well balanced, which is why you can be so neat.

The camera is a Ricoh WG-M2 - not bad but a couple of limitations, the biggest issue being that you can only record for a max of 10 mins in 4k and (I think) 60fps HD. You have to drop to 30fps HD before the recording time goes up to 25mins. That said, the sound is superb (no external mic in the videos) for an action camera and it has wind noise supression (not that you really need it in a closed cockpit car) and image stabilisation. You also need to buy a micro-SD card with fast write times. I've never had a Go-Pro so I can't really compare, but the cost of the Ricoh was about half of a Go-Pro 5.

The mounting is as per the picture below. The camera has a 1/4 inch screw mount, so it's not like a Go-Pro in that respect. All 3 mounting components are from SP Gadgets; there is a large tube clamp on the roll bar, a 12 inch extender pole and a 1/4 inch swivel screw mount at the end. The additional little gizmo on the top of the extender pole is a holder for a GPS receiver. I have a great little GPS lap timer app on my phone - not that I use it on track days of course, that would be against the regulations ;)

For those who ask why to use better fuels, is it necessary?

Stock car, I am not sure if UK Ford calibration is for 95 or 97, can anyone confirm? If it is 416PS at 97, then filling with 95 will set of the knock sensor and as such reduce power.

I've only ever put Vpower in since new and on stock calibration from Ford the car never ever had positive knock and would often always be running at -4.00, meaning it was adding in more timing, which means more power or in short the full advertised 416PS and 530nm.

Once your tuned it becomes more important, we spend money on CAI's, headers, exhaust and other performance enhancing modifications and filling with a fuel such as Tesco99 or Shell99 could result in an additional 20HP quite easily on a 93 tune. Running regular super will no doubt have the knock sensor going positive, filling with 95 on a 93 tune would have the sensor screaming.

Credit to my dealer. They put in Tesco99 when I first collected the car. I have been using premium fuels from day one and broke my car in correctly. Next up is an oil and oil filter change at 1500 miles.

You can get the Octane boosters in a can type stuff that you stick in the petrol tank when you fill up, are they any good at all?
