.... I only know Phillip Island from TV with WSB and MotoGP, but it looks epic - and Lukey Heights looks like a bit of a tester, especially with that low sun. Was that a Daytona Cobra you were briefly behind at the start of the second video? Does the track go slightly uphill past the pits? .... never imagined that, it always looks to be downhill all the way from the final corner to Doohan Curve on the TV.

Phillip Island is an epic track, definitely my favourite from what I have driven. Low sun was definitely annoying at the end of the day... it's scary enough as it is coming over that blind crest flat and braking down the hill!Awesome stuff! Cheers for posting that up
Yes it was a Daytona Cobra. Heaps of Cobras there that day. Yes slightly up hill, you go over a little crest after the pits.

Well here's a video link that I never thought I'd be posting up! ....
My 7 year old daughter came running in the other day to tell me I needed to come and watch a Little Mix video with her (she'd seen something she knew I loved!) ..... leaving aside the obvious attractions, it's not the kind of thing I would usually then post up on M6G ...... but! ......

My neighbour just got a GT3... It's white 2012 plate so it's not an 'RS', but it's a nice car he's got. He loves cars and is now buying them as "Investments" this one being his first.I'd sacrifice some performance to have the GT3, noise and revs all day long over turbo sorry.

It's a lovely car alright .... pity the build quality and customer service doesn't filter down to buyers of other 'top of the line' Ford UK models such as ..... errr, let me think? ..... ah yes, the Mustang! I didn't even get a free mug or key ring FFS!
Back to the video, however. Lots of things I really like on the GT - love the carbon wheels and the whole flying buttress, air extraction through the lights thing. Sadly I'll probably never get to drive one, but was lucky enough to see a road going car at the Heritage Centre visit last year. Beautiful car. I wonder how long before v2.0 comes out with hybrid power?
