If you can't afford to run 91+ then maybe you should think about your financial issues before spending $700 on a tuner.

I already have an ngauge and the flex fuel tune, along with just the 93 tune. Maybe I should of cleared that up before posting. I just wanted to know if its even possible without messing things up. My wife drives it from time to time and even though I tell her 93 only, she forgets and puts 87. She hasn't done it yet in the stang, but she did in her frs which states premium fuel ONLY.

I thought the flex fuel tune could adjust to anything you put in the tank.

You should email Lund to get everything cleared up. But if you are not driving it aggressively I don't think is a problem. But for peace of mind, you should at least run 91 just for the little protection. After all, these are cars and time o time shit goes wrong.

who is getting 15 mpg on e85? I am getting 8.1 mpg.. (:
Around town driving I am 8-10MPG. When I can get out on the highway and drive for miles and miles, I can get 14-15.

Who cares though:D. I love my E85 fuel and how fast my engine eats that delicious corn concoction up. Makes it even better when its 95* degrees out and no timing is being pulled, too:ford:

no one..just like the s/c guys claim 30 mpg..i drove from ny to sarasota on a lund 93 ave 25mpg, on e85 locally i was at 7-8 mpg
all highway 40.6 miles to work, and 40.6 back, its actually 17+MPG at the moment with the "78%" alch stated on the nGauge. so i assume its at least e-78+

like i said YMMV, and yours does:shrug:

I was getting 8-10mpg on e85. Then after my speeding ticket, all of a sudden my mpg went up to 15.7 where it stayed.

I have to ask, what were you guys getting when on pump gas?
If you're at 7-8 or 8-10 then you couldn't have been getting any more than 12-14 before.

I averaged 16-17 on 93 for city driving. I took a 1600 mile trip on 93 and averaged 24mpg.

I will say...On E85, I drive my car harder because of the power increase over stock. That will wear off eventually since I have only been on E85 for ~2 months.

My highway mpg is 20 on e85 and 25-26 on 91 . My last 2hr drive at 70mph was 20.5 on e85 . This is with 3.73 gears and 275/40/19 MPSS
