LTH with Ford performance touring cat back

Thinking about purchasing a set of headers and I currently have the Ford performance sport cat. I like the sound currently but understand that if I install headers it will become a lot louder.

curious if anyone has the Ford performance touring with headers and how it sounds.

I dont have the Ford catback but do have the AWE Touring. I saw this video of Stainless Works headers and AWE catback.

I just received the LTH headers so I hope the sound would be almost the same.

I have the Borla Touring with headers which is similar to the FP Touring except that the Borla uses a resonated H pipe.

I think the Borla resonator makes a huge difference and it’s still a straight through design. I personally think this combo sounds really good. Not too loud and a nice deep tone.

I was thinking of going with this setup as well. I have lth and the mbrp street and keep getting pulled over lol. I was able to find a video on here with that setup sounds good!

I have long tubes with the Ford Racing exhaust, I added in the Borla Resonator and it’s perfect. It was obscenely loud without it.

I also have LTH on my girl. It also has the borla ATAk cat back system. While it sounded mean as hell, it was loud as hell. I got the borla 66061 resonator added and pleased with the sound. Its not gone, but I feel its more tame

It is the touring version. I added in the resonator later, when I went to long tubes.

A lot, it was actually too quiet initially. I’d say after a tank or two of gas, it got broken in and sounded great.
