I installed a custom tune and jlt cai yesterday. Car seemed to be running fine. Started it this morning and low oil pressure light came on. Turned off and restarted it and it was ok. Any cause for concern?

May seem like a dumb question to ask, but did you check your oil? What did your oil pressure reading say at the time the light came on? Rule out the obvious.

If he doesn't have the PP the oil pressure is just low or normal. If there is plenty of oil in the engine, it could be a sensor glitch.

I have a GT premium. No pp. I didn't check anything it was actually someone else in my house who backed the car out of my driveway and told me this happened

If it doesn't repeat I wouldn't worry about it, but keep an eye on it. Make sure the dipstick shows plenty of oil.

The car only has 500 miles on it so I just figured the oil wouldn't be low yet. But I'll check it

It's still showing low oil pressure. Oil does seem low on the dipstick. How is this possible though with only 500 miles on the car?
Could the tune have anything to do with it?

If the oil is showing ON THE STICK, then the level is not the problem. I don't know what "tune" you have done, but I doubt that as oil pressure is mechanically produced.

If this continues, I would remove the tune - go back to stock - and go see dealer as soon as possible.

I think it is the tune. The car is running fine. What most likely happened is I didn't provide the correct strategy code to the tuner. I'm going to load a new tune and see what happens

Try to put a mechanical oil pressure gauge to it if you are skeptical. Try the stock tune and see what it reads too.
