Our cars (2015-2017 Mustang GT's) take 8 Quarts of oil but I find myself adding about an extra 1/3 of a quart after an oil change to get to where I want on oil level. Was it a gradual decrease while putting miles on the car or was it only noticed after the miles were put on it?

Check your oil level at least every 500 miles or 1000 km and add some if its low, thats what you have to do with any car if you drive hard. Its normal.

i dont think theres anything to solve - these engines burn oil... if its a certain amount and within warranty you can talk to ford - otherwise keep a cpl quarts handy...

Ford Mustang GT 2015 ( KM 266.000 ). 165K and the oil was not changed regularly, which might mean trouble.
